Myles Hopton, EqDT

I have been involved with horses since the age of 10, and have 15 years of experience working with horses in the show jumping arena. For eight of those years, I worked for a professional show jumper, traveling worldwide to shows and providing for the care and needs of his horses, both at home and on the road.

I have learned a great deal through my experiences and developed a skill for working well with many different kinds of horses. My goal is to enhance the well-being of horses and offer quality services to the equine world as an equine dental technician.

I am a graduate of the American School of Equine Dentistry, and a certified member of the Equine Dental Providers of America.

After attending the American School of Equine Dentistry, and through working with many vets and equine dentists, I have seen marked improvement in the rideability, performance and overall well-being in horses who have received quality dental care.

A large amount of my work is done with hand tools, but also power tools when required, using the latest state-of-the-art equipment. I do the majority of my work on horse’s un-sedated, working with a veterinarian when sedation is required.

I am committed to excellence and to helping horses attain their optimum level of comfort, enabling them to reach their peak performance and to satisfy the owner's needs. I treat every horse with extreme care and respect and provide the owner with understanding of what we are trying to achieve.
